![]() ![]() Heroes that provide casualty replenishment are always welcome in armies. It's always a hard decision whether to use mages in armies or for actions. Usually this happens to both sit on mages which is very unfortunate. Loads of case by case action going on here. Heinrich Kemmler also got a skill tree upgrade + some changes to his faction Heres a stream from DameOffensive showing off the changes: Rewind to the beginning to see all the changes. What I find to be really hard to decide on is caster lords, as they actually gain important combat features in their yellow tree. Red tree is great on everyone no question and I would never say it's a bad move to use that instead. There will certainly be some exceptions here. What I want from the blue tree, somewhat ordered: upkeep reduction, casualty replenishment, ambush defence chance, hero action defence, research bonus, general economy bonus. Blue tree is generally the priority for me though - renowned and feared and lightning strike are both very worthwhile targets. Some factions have pretty boring bonuses especially in first tier (looking at you, Dwarfs) which makes it harder to motivate prioritizing it. It's hard to generalize properly as the blue tree especially is quite unique in structure for each faction. ![]()
